Board members are responsible for the overall direction and performance of the organisation, including its efficiency and effectiveness as a public body. To highlight the specific qualities and values of the SEPA Board, a video message from the Chairman, Bob Downes is available for potential applicants to view on the SEPA website.
SEPA’s Chairman, Bob Downes, said:
“Being part of SEPA’s Board is a hugely rewarding experience, as it places our members at the forefront of shaping the way we safeguard our natural environment and improve it for future generations to enjoy.
“We’re looking for the broadest range of candidates possible, as the strength of our Board is defined by the diversity of talent and skills that each individual brings to the post. It’s an exciting opportunity and one that has a tangible impact on our role as Scotland’s environmental regulator.”
Interested candidates should apply via Scottish Government’s Public Appointments website, by Thursday 19 October, 2017. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview, following which Scottish Ministers will approve the final candidates for each vacancy.
