Discharge of sewage effluent to the River Clyde in the Tradeston area - UPDATED STATEMENT

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has been advised by Scottish Water that work to resolve an operational issue within the foul sewer network, which had resulted in the discharge of sewage effluent to the River Clyde in the Tradeston area, has now been completed.

Should the public have concerns about any discharges to the River Clyde, or see any dead or distressed fish in the area, please contact our Pollution Hotline on 0800 807060 and we will investigate.
