Scottish Environment Protection Agency appoints new CEO
SEPA Chairman, David Sigsworth said today:
We are very pleased that Terry A’Hearn has been successfully appointed as our new Chief Executive. Terry is currently Chief Executive of the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) and has a strong background in environmental protection and regulation. He has previously worked for the international environmental consultancy WSP Environment and Energy, and also for the Environment Protection Authority in the Australian State of Victoria. We expect Terry to take up his position in April, and we are all looking forward to working with him.
“James Curran, our current Chief Executive, has agreed to remain in post until Terry can take up his position.”
