There are strong winds, heavy rain and high tides affecting parts of Scotland today and over the rest of the weekend.
Richard Brown, Hydrology Duty Manager said:
"Winds are picking up throughout today and coinciding with some high astronomical tides along parts of the coast. We’re paying particularly close attention to the coast around the Northern Isles and the Solway Firth but the West coast and Western Isles will also see high tides.
"This could mean that communities will see some spray and overtopping along these parts of the coast and we urge people to take care if out and about near the sea. We could also see some localised flooding of roads and low lying land. There may also be similar flooding issues for rivers in the North West due to heavy rain and melting snow.
