The Met Office has updated its weather warnings for Scotland, which can be viewed here, with the Amber warning remaining in force until 10am on Friday.
SEPA’s emergency management team met again today and having reviewed guidance from the Met Office, Scottish Government and Police Scotland, and considering impacts on public transport, it has been decided that the following offices will remain closed on Friday 2 March:
Should conditions change for the remaining open offices, decisions will be communicated as necessary.
Staff have been advised to follow Police Scotland guidance, and to avoid travelling in the amber zone.
Based on current forecasts, SEPA is advised that the weather position should improve across the weekend and, at this stage, we anticipate all offices reopening as normal on Monday.
We will continue to review the situation over the coming days and updates will be issued to staff via email, via our SESIL Business Continuity Messaging Service (01698) 839 025, via social media channels and our website.
SEPA will issue social media updates alerting our customers to any impact on our services.
